ObjectivEye develops a new standard for fair and explainable talent selection with support from UNIIQ
What if the labour market evolves faster than organisations can keep up? As roles continuously change, organisations must also demonstrate that their hiring decisions are fair, transparent and legally defensible. This makes it increasingly difficult to both identify and fully utilise the right talent. ObjectivEye, based in The Hague, is developing technology that enables organisations to assess candidates based on skills and development potential; transparently, explainably and with a future-oriented perspective. With the support of UNIIQ and TNO, ObjectivEye is accelerating the real-world application of its technology.

Understanding a candidate’s development potential
While traditional recruitment relies heavily on CVs and static job profiles, ObjectivEye focuses on a candidate’s development trajectory. Its platform analyses which skills are required for a role and how candidates align with those requirements, making the decision-making process fully transparent. This enables organisations to make demonstrably fair and evidence-based hiring decisions, which is particularly important in sectors where transparency and public accountability are essential.
ObjectivEye’s technology combines advanced AI with scientifically validated methodologies for fair decision-making, developed in collaboration with TNO. Rather than replacing human judgement, the platform supports organisations with explainable insights that help them make better, future-proof decisions.
Proven technology in regulated sectors
ObjectivEye focuses on organisations operating under public responsibility and strict regulatory frameworks, such as government bodies, healthcare institutions and financial organisations. The platform has already reached an advanced stage of development and has been successfully validated in a paid pilot with De Nederlandsche Bank. Additional pilots and implementations are underway at ministries, regulatory authorities and healthcare organisations. These early applications have given UNIIQ the confidence to invest in ObjectivEye.
Accelerating commercial rollout and integration
The next phase focuses on preparing the AI functionality for full operational deployment, integrating with existing HR systems and obtaining ISO 27001 certification. These steps will enable scalable deployment within public and regulated organisations.
“According to the World Economic Forum, more than 50% of jobs will change by 2030, while many organisations continue to make decisions based on outdated structures. ObjectivEye is building decision-making infrastructure that enables organisations to utilise talent fairly, transparently and with a future-oriented perspective.”

Partnership between UNIIQ and TNO
This investment marks an important step in the still-young partnership between UNIIQ and TNO, combining early-stage funding with technological expertise to accelerate the path from innovation to real-world application. It represents the first joint investment under this collaboration. UNIIQ’s contribution is supported in part by the EFRO “Kansen voor West” programme.
