Reducing unplanned downtime to zero
Samotics (formerly known as: Semiotic Labs) was founded in 2015 by Gerben Gooijers and Simon Jagers. The company’s predictive maintenance solution predicts when and why electric motors and rotating equipment will fail. Its clients use the technology to schedule maintenance before breakdowns occur. This helps prevent downtime and allows maintenance to be carried out more intelligently and more affordably.
In May 2016, the jury of City Flows declared Samotics the winner of the Rotterdam edition of Startup Fest Europe held at Venture Cafe.
