Floating solar platform at sea for generating renewable energy

Although solar farms operate on inland waterways, they have never been installed at sea before as wind, waves and saltwater place challenging demands on the robustness and anchoring of the panels. However, Oceans of Energy has succeeded in developing a floating system which affords many advantages: not only does the sea offer much more space to generate energy on a large scale, but the reflection of sunlight on the water increases the yield per panel. Moreover, in the future, floating solar panels may be combined with offshore wind farms.
